-The Bible is the inspired word of God; it is God's written Word. The Word of God is without error and is truth, and because of its truth we use it as the standard for living our lives. It reveals to us who God is, and tells us of God’s unyielding love for us, and his will for our lives.
- We believe there is only one God; he is the Creator and Ruler of all things. He is eternal and coexists in three persons also known as the Godhead; God the Father, God the Son-Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the one and only son of God. He was completely God while at the same time being fully man, during his time on earth he revealed to us who God is. The reason Jesus was sent to earth was to take on the sins of the world by dying on a cross and paying the price that our sins deserve. Jesus resurrection from the grave is the proof that he is who he claims to be. The Holy Spirit being God dwells in the hearts of the believers. At the point of salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us to provide us with a guide to do what is right, and to help you live a life for God. The Bible illustrates the relentless love that God has for us as he continues to show us this love every day.
We believe that man was created in the image of God. God gave us free will; we have the ability to choose to love as God loves. In the beginning Adam and Eve chose to sin in the Garden of Eden, since then man has been separated from God because of sin. Jesus then came to earth and became that perfect sacrifice so that we could be in relationship with God. It is impossible to reach or restore the relationship with God without Jesus. No amount of personal goodness, religious deeds, or church membership can achieve salvation or relationship with God. Jesus is the only way to the Father. God had a plan for us from the beginning, and his plan included sending his son to die on the cross so that we could be set free from our sins, this ultimate form of sacrifice is part of grace. His grace is His gift to us. Once we decide to accept his grace and make the commitment to enter a covenant relationship with Jesus, we must obey His command to be baptized, immersed in water, washing away our sin. This act of demonstrates the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that God created us with a soul that will go on existing even after our bodies die. Those who take Jesus as their Savior and continue to grow in their faith will spend eternity with God in Heaven. Those who do not choose Jesus, and are not growing in relationship with him will spend eternity in hell. We believe that Heaven and hell are real places and one day everyone will be in one or the other based on their choices they made on earth. The church is made up of those who have made Jesus their Savior and are in a growing relationship with God. The church is not a building but a group of believers. By belonging to the church, one belongs to the body of Christ with Christ as Head, and the church is his body. The body of Christ should come together to worship, encourage one another, use our different gifts to serve Christ, study God's will, and be Christ to others. The church is also commanded to share Jesus and the salvation he brings with the rest of the world.
